 1. Source of funding

The Asia Pacific Youth Employment Network is sponsored by the ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific.

2. Mission and Objectives

APYouthNet serves as a bridge to connect constituents, experts, practitioners and youth active in youth employment policy and programme design to share technical knowledge and experience, advice, best practices and partnerships in countries and across the Asia-Pacific region. The aim is to bring together people who share a passion on the subject and who are committed to learning how to better address youth employment issues.

4. Partners and areas of partnerships

APYouthNet consists of more than 800 members and member organizations, including social partners, governments, NGOs and international organizations, academia and other youth employment practitioners.

5.  Existing or potential partnerships with the ILO

The Asia Pacific Youth Employment Network is sponsored, managed and facilitated by the ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific.

6. Successful youth employment intervention

The Asia Pacific Youth Employment Network has brought together more than 800 regional youth employment experts, practitioners and youth and has hosted a number of thematic online discussions, produced a series of thematic discussion podcasts and offers a growing pool of youth-employment related research and policy resources.
