The National Youth Training Centre provides vocational training to school leavers and the disadvantaged youth. The program aims to equip people with knowledge and skills to enable them to earn a source of living and improve their livelihood.

1. General Carpentry - TPAF Level III Trade Certificate (Min.
requirement - Completion of form 4, Duration - 10 months, Age limit:
18 - 35 years)
2. Agriculture - General Certificate in
Agriculture (Min. Req - Attempted Class 8 and is currently farming,
Duration - 10 months; Age limit 18 - 35 years; Course content - Vegetable
and rootcrop production, Livestock production - piggery, poultry,
apiaculture, pest and disease control, farm management, soil management,
agriculture and the environment.
3. Multi Skills - Multiskills program for
females (Min requirement - completion of primary school; duration 6
months; age limit 18 - 35 years; Course Content - weaving, sewing, screen
printing, cooking/catering, jewellery making, tie & dye, embroidery
small scale farming)
