 The goal of the project is to mitigate conflict by training targeted marginalized youth for employment in the Mid-Western Region of Nepal.

     1. Improved literacy, life skills, and peace-building skills for targeted youth;
     2. Increased vocational training and employment opportunities for targeted youth;
     3. Increased rural income and agriculture productivity for targeted youth; and
     4. Scholarships distributed for targeted youth.

Ltd.

6.     Successful youth employment interventions

      1. A nine month long literacy course;
     2. Vocational training and employment placement in non-agricultural trades;
     3. The enrollment of youth in higher secondary education through scholarships;
     4. Technical training to increase agricultural productivity and enterprise training along the value chain;
     5. Identify job opportunities and strengthen private sector linkages with training providers; and
     6. A job search website at www.jobsfirst.org.np.
