ROTARACT (South Asia)

Rotaract is an International organization founded by Rotary International in 1968 aimed at young people aged 18 to 30. Rotaract enables and supports its members (known as Rotaractor’s) to grow both personally and professionally by providing a wide range of activities and opportunities. There are more than 8440 Rotaract Clubs with approximately 194,120 Rotaractor’s in 516 Districts, over 170 countries; of this there are approximately 2129 Clubs in India, 67 Clubs in Nepal, 56 Clubs in Pakistan & 61 Clubs in Sri Lanka with membership of approximately 50,000+ Rotaractor’s

Karen Youth Organization

The KYO (Karen Youth Organization) was re-formed on 23rd May 1989 to respond to the real needs of the young Karen people in Karen community. For many years the KYO has performed valuable work on behalf of the Karen community, helping young Karen to develop their potential to work in and on behalf of the Karen community.
