5.     Potential or existing partnership with the ILO

The ILO has been providing support to Sindh TEVTA in the areas of: Developing a provincial skills strategy for youth employment in Sindh; introducing and mainstreaming “Know About Business – KAB”, the ILO’s entrepreneurship education tool in TVET Institutes; improving the management and governance of Sindh TEVTA; Staff Development through Instructors’ training; Labour Market Information and Analysis (LMIA); and developing TEVTA’s capacity to establish Institute-Industry Linkages.

6.     Successful youth employment interventions

Sindh TEVTA, like global best practices, is attending to rapidly increasing unemployed youth while and a skilled labour shortage by improving the efficiency of TEVT administration, improving infrastructure, faculty and staff development and introducing demand driven academic programs, trainings, by developing industrial linkages and involving potential stakeholders.
