Virlanie provides support to street children and this particular program, also known as Batang Pilipino Ang Pag-asa links disadvantaged jobless youth to stable employment in the formal economy.

6.     Successful youth employment interventions

In January 2010, the YAP worked with 62 young adults. By the end of year, three had left the Foundation and are now living  independently with full-time jobs. Three young adults were reunified with their families, and one was referred to another NGO. Thirteen young adults found full-time jobs. Nineteen found summer jobs in United Laboratories, Inc., Domain Foods Corp., Chowking Foods  Corp., Aristocrat Bakeshop Corp., and Oyster Boy. By the end of the year, 48 young adults had savings accounts from their various jobs.
