International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), 2008 - If you want to change the world, invest in an adolescent girl. One person in eight is a girl or young woman age 10 to 24. Yet girls remain nearly invisible to those in positions of power. This report is about why and how to put girls at the center of development. It is only through major and sustained improvements in the condition of girls that the world will reach its goals to alleviate poverty.
